The produce walk in cooler that this firm shares with Kroger 401 was scanned with an infrared surface thermometer at various locations inside the cooler. The lowest temperature measured 44 degrees and the highest read 48 degrees. This is the cooler used to chill Supreme Produce product before and after processing. Because this is the only cooling equipment used by Supreme Produce the firm does not have the capacity to provide safe food temperatures. Alternative solutions were discussed with an assistant manager for Kroger to allow supreme Produce operations to continue. |
