Deli employee observed slicing cheese on slicer, then leaving station to come to the walk in cooler. Employee then handled an unopened chub of turkey and walked through a set of doors into the bakery room to relocate the turkey chub. Employee returned to finish slicing the cheese without washing hands or changing gloves in between tasks. |

The following items were observed to be held above 41 F in the open-air pizza cooler near the deli. Calzone at 48 F, Extra Large Ultimate Meat pizza at 49.2 F, Flat bread pepperoni pizza at 48.8 F, and small cheese pizza at 49.1. About $1,200 and 140 items in total. Items included Calzones, Flat Bread pizzas, personal pizzas, medium pizzas and extra large pizzas. Temperatures were verified with TDA digital probe thermometer. Case temperature reading 52 F at time of inspection. |
Store Lead had all items in the open-air pizza cooler pulled and discarded during inspection. A work order was place during inspection. |
