A three tier hot holding shelf in the deli department was scanned with an infrared surface thermometer on all 3 levels with the highest temperature reading 134. Foods inside this hot holding unit was probed with a state issued and calibrated thermometer with a hot dog at 110 degrees internal temperature and a chicken egg roll at 102 degrees internal temperature. The PIC voluntarily directed a deli employee to remove this product from sale to discard. During the complaint investigation that trigger this inspection the PIC also called to place a service ticket for repairs to this hot holding unit. The lights of the unit were turned off and it was taken out of service until repairs are completed. |

A spray bottle with approximately 7 ounces of a pink translucent liquid was observed on the meat department 3 compartment sink. The PIC stated they believed this spray bottle contains sanitizer solution but were not sure. The spray bottle was removed and carried by the PIC during the inspection to discard the contents and label properly. |

The hand sink next to the deli food dispensing area would not dispense water. The PIC states that this sink is leaking. The hand sink for the deli ware washing area, kitchen area, and bakery are all easily accessible (less than 10 paces) from the food dispensing area. PIC states that a repair ticket has already been issued for this sink. |

1.) Excessive ice build up was observed on large portions of the ceiling in the walk in freezer, as well as on cooling fan units in this freezer. The PIC took a picture of this ice build up to submit a repair ticket during the inspection. 2.) The door of a retail freezer was observed broken and ice build up was observed on the ceilings and walls of this freezer. No ice was observed forming on product in either of these freezers. |
