Observed date marking system in place for required deli items, however, various salads, sandwiches and desserts, located in the deli retail cold case had an extended date mark past the allowed 7 days. Observed date mark being extended from 8 to 12 days. Some examples: broccoli salad created on 02/21 expired 02/28, pasta salad created 02/21 expired 03/03, deli ham and cheese sandwich created on 02/17 expired 02/24. |
Deli staff corrected all expiration date marking on required deli items during inspection. |
