Observed several in house prepared sandwiches and wraps with inconsistent date marking used on these items. The cook states that in house prepared items are date marked with the expiration date. The cook also stated that another kitchen employee may have dated some of these items with the date of creation rather than the expiration date. 3 tuna salad sandwiches dated 2/10. 2 fruit salads dated 2/8 and 2/9. 8 sandwiches dated 2/5. 7 wraps dated 2/5. Observed several items date 2/16 and 2/17 indicating that some items are being marked with a discard date. Observed a bowl of hard boiled eggs dated to expire 2/20. Date of inspection 2/11/2025 indicating that these eggs are being date marked for longer than the 7 days permitted. |
