Observed peanut brittle from Mimi's Downhome Brittle for sell on the retail floor to be from an unapproved source. PIC stated that items were sourced locally, and that they are made from a private residence. Labels were missing the home address and telephone number of the producer
of the homemade food item, as well as missing the following statement: "This product was produced at a private residence that is exempt from state licensing and inspection. This product may contain allergens." |
PIC removed Mimi's Downhome Brittle products from the retail floor and will be getting appropriate labels for said products. |
