Observed two open water bottles, an open bottle of ginger ale, and a coffee cup on the kitchen prep table where an employee was wrapping hamburgers and another employee was preparing chicken to fry. Observed the PIC take a drink of coffee at the prep table while food preparation is occuring. |
Discussed that eating and drinking is prohibited for all employees where food is stored or prepared. No personal food or drink should be kept in the kitchen. The PIC removed the coffee cup from the kitchen area and discarded the open bottles of water and ginger ale during the inspection. |
