Observed the sink inside the food preparation area, labeled as a 'Hand sink', to be filled with packaged meats sitting in stagnant water. PIC stated that they were defrosting these foods. I advised PICs to complete all thawing inside of a Walk-in cooler or under' continuously running water'. Also, I explained to PIC that this particular sink is only labeled for 'Hand washing' and cannot be used for anything else. |
