While waiting to conduct the exit interview, two people were observed walking past the swing door that separates the retail area from the food dispensing area. neither person washed their hands. One Person retrieved a pair of gloves and began taking food from the food warmer. I asked the PIC if they worked there and PIC stated no, they are just taking food. I explained to PIC that only employee's area allowed in food dispensing areas. One of the people stated that their wife worked there and then left the firm. PIC needs to maintain managerial control and prohibit non-food employees from food areas. |

PIC was observed holding a partially smoked cigarette in his hand with ash still on the end, walking through food service area, to the register (about 6 feet from food warmer) where an ashtray was located. Several cigarette butts could be seen in ashtray. PIC stated that he was smoking in the back, instructed to smoke outside, away from food. PIC attempted to conceal ashtray with cigarettes by placing several envelopes and pieces of mail over ash tray. |
