Deli employee was observed to use a probe food thermometer to check internal temperature of cooked chicken tenders with a reading of 156 degrees F, chicken was placed back in fryer for additional cooking, employee again checked internal temperature with same thermometer without sanitizing thermometer prior to checking fully cooked chicken temperature after final cook cycle. |
Chicken tenders checked with thermometer that had not been sanitized were ordered discarded during inspection. |
