Observed PIC to test sanitizer solution in sanitizer bucket located in the coffee shop while tested solution was approximately 90F (measured by inspector's probe thermometer.) Manufacturer's instructions on the firm's quaternary test strips state that the testing solution must be between 65 to 75F. |
Inspector explained appropriate sanitizer testing methods with quaternary test strips. Inspector was able to get an accurate reading on the sanitizer solutions using inspector's own non-heat sensitive testing strips. |
