Raw chicken was observed in the 3 compartment sink being thawed submerged in non-running water. The chicken was scanned with an infrared thermometer at 60 degrees. The internal temperature of the chicken was taken with a state issued calibrated and certified probe thermometer and registered at 54 degrees. |
PIC discarded the chicken and proper thawing practices were discussed. |
