Observed deli slicer not in use stored dirty. (Please see pictures) still plugged in, without a cover to deter use before cleaning. PIC stated that it has not been used in a while.
**Observed the produce sprayers inside several produce cases to have reddish organic matter built up on them causing an area of contamination.
**Observed not in use band saw, without cover, inside the meat department with encrusted old food residue built up on blade guides and under table. PIC stated that the slicer has not been in use since the summer.
**Observed the dishwasher inside the deli department to have old encrusted black organic matter built up on the roof and sprayers inside the machine.
****Observed frothing arm on Starbucks Expresso machine to have encrusted, hardened, old milk and syrups built up under cover. |

Observed the PIC inside the deli test there sanitizer while 'moving' the test strip. The proper procedure for testing sanitizer is 'no movement' of test strip while testing to insure a correct calculation every time its tested. |
