The dairy/produce reach in cooler was scanned with an infrared thermometer at 59 degrees. The inspector checked items from each shelf of this cooler and found that items on the bottom shelf were below 41 degrees. Items on the other 4 shelves of the cooler were probed with a state issued calibrated thermometer at 62 and 63 degrees. The PIC voluntarily discarded all out of temperature products from this case. The PIC also called a refrigeration company to inspect and repair the cooler. |
