Observed several containers of raw chicken for sale kept in retail meat cooler to be out of the temperature safe zone for 'cold holding'. Inspector used calibrated probe thermometer to check internal temperatures. (35 individual containers of chicken legs, thighs, and whole meat). |
All foods discarded by PIC during inspection. Firm is having issue with retail meat cooler to the left of Meat Department. Firm will be in contact with inspector once this issue has been fixed so this area can be inspected before raw meats are placed back into these retail coolers. |
