A shopping cart was observed with trays of unwrapped cuts of pork in trays touching the basket. Exposed food should not be placed in or on equipment that has not been cleaned and sanitized. The PIC directed employees in the meat department to take the cuts of pork out of the shopping cart. 2. Three containers of a cut onion and pepper blend, two containers of cut bell peppers, four containers of cut tomatoes, lettuce and onions for burger toppings, and many blocks of cheese were observed with raw products display over these ready to eat products. The inspector discussed options to remerchandise the display of the ready to eat products with the PIC and mead lead. The PIC and meat lead decided that they would no longer tie in ready to eat products in the raw meat department to prevent further instances of this violation. Priority (P) 0
