7 chubs of ready to eat deli meat were observed with a date to discard of 2/18/2024. This would be an appropriate discard date if these 7 chubs were opened on the date of inspection. The PIC stated to the inspector that the firm had not been cutting ready to eat deli meats for about a month. The deli slicer appeared clean and was covered in plastic during the inspection. The PIC voluntarily discarded the opened chubs of ready to eat deli meats. |
