1. A single use Styrofoam cup was observed being used as a scoop for sugar that was stored in a coffee canister on the beverage station. Styrofoam cups are a single use item and cannot be reused. An appropriate scoop would be intended for multiple uses, have a handle which cannot touch food products, and be stored to protect it from contamination between uses. 2. The ice scoop was observed stored uncovered and not protected from contamination near the ice maker. This scoop should be stored in a bucket or an ice bag between uses to protect it from contamination. |
