Observed in the CDS 3-compartment sink room, the dedicated handwashing sink does not have splash guards. On the right hand side of the sink the clean wares shelving unit butts up to the sink. Clean equipment is stored next to the sink. On the left hand side of the sink, the 3-compartment sink drain board with clean wares/equipment are air drying. |

Observed in the CDS room with 3-compartment sink, the waste water pipe is inside the floor drain a few inches without a sufficient air gap. An air gap creates a physical gap between the sink and the drain to avoid backflow of wastewater into the sink. Please repair. |
