Two peanut butter pies and one container of pimento cheese cookie dough were observed in a freezer for retail sale. These items were produced by Weezi Homemade Pies. This is not a permitted manufacturer. Because both of these items contain dairy products they are considered time/temperature control controlled for safety and are not eligible to be sold in a retail setting without a manufacturing permit from the Tennessee Department of Agriculture. A hold order has been placed for these items. |
