| Comments | TN-250001; expires 6/30/2030; 24C SPECIAL LOCAL NEED FOR FOR AERIAL APPLICATION OF COMMAND 3ME MICROENCAPSULATED HERBICIDE ON RICE ; The percentage of rice produced in Tennessee has grown and is estimated to continue to grow. Weed management is crucial to enable rice to grow successfully with acceptable yields. Flooding rice fields is beneficial to control a variety of troublesome weeds in Tennessee, but there are weeds that thrive in flooded fields. Command 3ME Microencapsulated Herbicide is an option to help manage those types of weeds. Aerial application of Command 3ME Microencapsulated Herbicide is necessary as ground equipment cannot operate in flooded fields. This SLN would provide growers with the needed tools for weed management in rice fields. |
